Hmmmm....Never really thought of PR I was just posting my thoughts on the subject, however, Yes I have always seen IE on Mac be one of the saddest examples of computer engineering in the history of computing aside from otherthings, however, I would still like to see it go open source, it could be the dawn of a new age for mac, creating another engine out of the 2 that already exist. Engines are good for testing cross-browser compatibility, I can honestly say though, if IE had never existed, my life would be much much easier, and I would be a whole lot skinner, Im a web engineer who specializes in web conformancy for section 508 and British disability act as well as web conformancy for cross browser compatibility, the more microsoft messes up the more clients I get and the more my kids get fed, so in the end I would like to see it stay but then again I would like to see it go for good because I can always go back to programming, but think about this, if MSFT goes off the map who are we gonna complain about now?

Well, that's a nice PR piece on your site. Tell me, though, that if you had the choice and it wouldn't upset your clients you wouldn't cast IE/mac into the great abyss never to be seen again. IE/mac is a remnant of the browser wars, and Microsoft doesn't want to invest in a dying browser and so they have disowned it. We should too. And encourage all wonderful Mac users to use Safari or Firefox.

As a web engineer my job day in and day out is to make sure that every clients site is compatible with every browser, now I haven't worked on a Mac for the longest time because its just not my forte as an engineer to go towards Mac, I would prefer...
